phpODP enables you to add the content of The Open Directory Project at dmoz.org to your own website. Let your users search or browse the categories. Also supports targeted advertising. Everything is template based, which means that changing the look of your own Open Directory is as easy as browsing the Kids category on dmoz.org. The content is collected from ODP in real time. When they update, you update. Caching of searches and browsing is supported, and you can specify when the cache should be updated automatically.
Includes the ability to display a targeted Amazon.com sponsored link on searching/browsing. (eg. if the user searches for "php" a link to "Search for books on php" to amazon.com is shown. This is optional. |
